I think I may have found the rims i want.. Ive never seen them before, they are ZR1s from AFS wheels.. But they are painted silver with the machined lip.. they look really sweet. they are on ebay if anyone wants to look at them.

They look pretty slick but there's something interesting in the print there....

SIZE AND SPECIFICATIONS: We have combined two sizes of wheels in this set. There is 2-17 x 9.5 (+38mm,6.7" backspace) front and 2-17x11 (+36mm, 7.397" backspace) rear. They are a direct bolt-on and no spacers or adapters are needed. They also fit on the 1993-2003 Trans Am, or Firebird! Please note, this is not the correct offset for the Camaro. They are 5-lug (5x120.65mm).
May want to confirm before you buy.

I would think so but just to be sure... I'd give AFS a call and see what they say. May be that they need a little massaging to fit and to avoid any negative feedback from people who don't know any better.... they add that little disclaimer.
If that is the case, I'm sure AFS wouldn't mind telling you.
As far as that goes... I'm sure someone will come along who has a definitive answer.

i personally think that chrome doesn't go well with silver, imo
i have the same looks of yours silver car, ss hood, ram air painted black, rear piece, mirrors, and top. and i'm looking to get either black z06 rims with the chrome lip and rivets or the C6 rims w/ chrome lip and rivets
a bit pricey and i really want to stick with the 17X9.5's but i haven't seen c6 rims in that size. i like the z06 rims too because of the nice dish they have.
i have silver zr1's now and they look really nice!
