Rim & Tire Decisions
Rim & Tire Decisions
Ok so am going to be purchasing rims in the next couple weeks 18x9.5 all the way around....and im not sure what tire to get with it...275 35 18 will bring it mostly to stock height....what about 275 40 18...I will prolly need lowering springs...but would i need them with 275 35? Im not sure what I should do...and if some1 can direct me with a tire that i can use for daily driving in spring and summer...thats relatively inexpensive and that last long...thanks

I was having atough time deciding this too with my 97 - most people on the board will tell you to get the 275/35/18's.
I went with the 275/40/18 becasue I wanted a bit more sidewall and I love it. However, you will need to lower it. The overall diameter is taller, and the car will sit way too high with stock springs.
I went with a Hotchkis 1" drop, and would not have wanted to go more, so don't go with Eibach's or anything that advertises more than 1".
