Pressure for non-stock tires

What is the general rule for tire pressure for larger than stock tires - just for driving around on the street? I'm thinking going with the pressure listed on the door isn't quite right given the different sizes.

I have 245/45/17s in front and 315/35/17s in back.

Thanks.

I have 245/40/18's F and 275/35/18's R and I run mine at between 30-32psi reason being if you run too much pressure (over 35psi) it effect the ride making it harsher.
