Brent, which style wheels are ya talkin about? i don't really care at this point i just want to see some black wheels that will look good on my black car. i am lookin to go completely blacked out. i have all the blackouts(with the exception of the rear side markers...do they even make blackouts for those?) and when i go black i will most likely end up getting rid of my chrome exhaust tips in trade for some black chrome tips from advance auto. anyhoo... any pics of black wheels will work.

also, does anyone know someplace in iowa that can do powdercoating? thanks!

These are the AFS wheels with 17x11s on the rear. They, I believe, have a little more of a polished lip than some of the others.

 

I think the chrome tips would look better cuz if u go black with those then its gonna be too much black, same for the rims if u go black which i'm sure was what u were gonna do but the polished lip would look a lot better than the full black. I like ur idea about goin black but don't over do it.

 

Actually, the more i think about it i think that i want to put some chrome z06 wheels or some chrome 5 spoke ss wheels on there instead. that is after i get a new hood of course. and then after that i might do a 383 stroker with a turbo. and then a new rear end of course because i would end up tearing it up. lol.

Brent id like to submit pics of my car. Black Z with SS hood and 18" Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's to you, do i just email them to you or what?

Also, they are leaving next week to go get powdercoated black and leave the lip polished. It will be alot more polished lip than any other cars out there because of the deep dish inset of the wheels. Id like to send you both pics of the car if thats ok.

spinner, those wheels look bassazz on that camaro. i want to do exactly that with mine. i am deciding on the black salad shooters or just go with black 5 spokes...of just say screw black wheels and get some z06's in chrome or 5 spokes in chrome or get the centerline rhino wheel(found on centerline's website under "wheel deals" for pics).
