Pics of 275/35 tires on 18" wheels?

I'm looking for some wheels, and can't decide on the 17" or 18" version.

The tire size I'd be running for the 18" wheels is 275/35.

I've seen TONS of 275/40's on 17" wheels, so I'd like some comparison to the 18".

Anyone running 275/35/18's on their car? Can you provide me with a few pics so I can see how it will look?

Thanks for posting Zack.

I believe I remember reading from the 315/35 on 9.5" wheel thread that you've been selling wheels and tires for a while?

If that be the case, I have a question: Is there any reason why I should choose a 17" wheel with a 275/40 tire over an 18" wheel with a 275/35 tire? I worry about there not being enough sidewall, and possibly creating unexpected (to me anyway) handling characteristics, and maybe less protection for the rim from bumps (rocks, potholes, etc...). Are there other concerns? And are my concerns valid?

I know that there will be increased weight, and with my car weighing in at close to 4000 pounds now, I'd rather not add any more weight than I "hate to".

its all preference in the 17's and 18's. I like the low profile look that 18s give with the 35 series tire so thats why I Went with them. If you feel nervous about the lack of sidewall, you could go with 275/40/18's.

as far as handling, should be somewhat better since theres less sidewall to flex

I did some reading AFTER I made that post, and realized that I was wrong in worrying about degraded cornering with the lower profile tires.

Your wheel tire combo looks pretty good though.

The only real problem at this point is tire cost. The tires I've looked at cost as much as 50% more for the 18" version over the 17" ones.

Thanks again!
