Tires never rub. To each their own. I certainly don't think that everyone in the world loves my wheels - but since you're the first to say I'm sure theres more out there somewhere! For you to think I drive around smuggly thinking everyone envies my rims is either naive or ignorance on your own part - not mine.

I don't mean to offend, really, it's just actual fact of what everyone says about my car. Take it for what its worth, I don't really care - I love the look and that is what matters to me most and for a lot of others who have different rims on their cars other than the factory jobbies

If you have 15s, 16s, or 17s and you are happy with them then more power to you! My car looks alot lower than it is in those pics because they were taken when the car was on grass.

I was basing that on this quote from you in your earlier post:

I guess I overinterpreted "every walk of life." It's good to hear that you're more firmly rooted in reality than I originally thought.

I have stock 16" chrome 10-spokes:

I think they look okay; tons better than salad shooters, and I'm happy to drive around on them until I can afford the wheels I want (17x9.5 C6 Z06 replicas). I definitely want to lower the car, but I prefer it when the spacing around the tire is the same all the way around the fender/quarter panel. Yours gets a lot closer at the top of the tire than it is at the sides.

I look at the space between the top of the tire and the fender, not the ground clearance. Your front tires look like they have maybe half an inch of space above them. Looks good in the back though.

Well now that we're on the same page..

Yeah what I meant with my every walk of life comment was young, old, domestic and import drivers alike have had the same general compliments about my setup.

I know for sure this doesn't mean everyone automatically likes them, just what I've experienced in the 2 cities I've lived in. I've kept my 5 spoke 16s for drag radials - for when I can get around to buyin the tires!

For me 20s definitely don't belong on a Fbody, just my opinion though

With the correct style of rim 18s are definitely not pushing it. That said I wouldn't go bigger.

Do you have any rub on the front?? That looks close.. I Like the way it sits though..

Re: Pics of 18" rims and up

No rub at all however now I recall on that spot the ground was a bit uneven possibly pushing the passenger tire up a bit further. I think I got another pic here somewhere....

meangreen-- what size tires are on those rims? They look too small, the tread seems shorter than the width of the tire.

Re: Pics of 18" rims and up

big rims on f-body's just doesn't look right. i wouldn't go any bigger then 18's.

also those big chrome cheesy rims look like ****. if your gonna go bigger don't go with the baller g-unit big chrome wheels. alot of them look like chrome flowers....
