painting polished rims

painting polished rims

I have a set of c5 rims they are polished alum. There beat up bad ( curb rash) i was wondering if i can paint polish alum rims? what would be the process? thanks

i want to paint them black. but i dont see why it wouldnt work, sand them down really well, and get a non flaking paint. i was gonna rattle can mine.

The problem with mine is theres no paint on them they are all aluminum finish , i guess if i put a primer and color it would work ?

well it will be a month or so before i do this, iam painting the rest of the car first so when i do ill post some pics
