Okay First off here is the deal. Right now the front tires are practically brand new Kumho supra ecsta 712s. I really dont see any need or reasoning to buy new front tires, BESIDES the fact that my tires will be mismatched. How noticable do you think it will be? Im looking for something that is gonna stick good and last for quite miles. Here are the questions I need answered.

1. 4 tires or only rears?

2. What Brand of DR, Nitto, BFG, Mickey Thompsons

3. Milage I can expect outta each brand.

 

You should be fine sticking with your current front tires and running a DR out back. I did that for a while with both Nittos and BFG's and Kumho MX tires up front. They arent going to look the same obviously but if that doesnt bother you then its fine. For mainly street driving and occasional track use you really can't beat Nittos. They will last up to 3x longer than the BFG's or the Mickey T's. People get "up to" 15k miles on Nitto's, about 5k on BFG's. Of course that all depends on how hard you are on them and how much track time. With the new MT dr's I've heard reports that they are only going to last around 2k miles on the street, they really arent a "street" tire from the looks and sound of them. They seem to be really intended to just get you to the track legally and thats about it for street use. I really doubt anyone is going to drive them on the street 24/7, but you could if you really wanted too.
