Well I have two. Do factory z06 rims fit a 98 firebird without any modifications?

Also, the car has a busted rim so to bring it home tommorrow I was going to use a 16x8 off of a 92 25th anny, will this fit with any problems?

 

What year factory Z06 wheels? What size?

For example, you could put 4 of the C5 Z06 17x9.5" 54mm offset wheels on a 4th Gen with no problems. Try and put the C5 Z06 18x10.5" 58mm offsets on the rear, and you will probably have to cut the corners off the jounce bumper brackets and hammer the inner fenders (depending on the size tires you put on them).

Then there's the C6 Z06 wheels......

The 3rd Gen wheel is going to stick out about 1.5-2.0" more that the 4th Gen wheels. It has that much less offset than a 4th Gen wheel. It will fit, but will have an adverse affect on handling.

 

Alrighty thanks. These are c5 z06 rims, and the third gen rim will only stay on until I get her home which will be a 30 mile drive. I appreciate the help!
