Offset on these wheels? can't find anywhere
285/35-18x9.5?
What is the offset on the MB Drifter wheels? I can't seem to find it anywhere I look. Edit: found it, 49mm, read second post.
Discount Tire says they fit....but I'm wondering about 285/35-18 Nitto 555s rubbing in the back. Nitto claims that size is fine for a 18x9.5 inch wheel, so as far as tread wear and scrunching is concerned I should be fine according to them. So if Nitto says 285s are fine on a 9.5, and DT says this 9.5 is fine on a Z28, then I'm I'm good to go right?
Was thinking 245/40-18s in the front.
If I'm right it should be 25.85" tall in the rear with 3.92" sidewalls showing in the rear.
And in the front it would be 25.72" tall with 3.86" sidewalls showing.
Does anybody see any problems with this setup?

Okay so I looked closer at some other MB Drifter sizes on DT's site and realized that the listing on the 18x9.5 5-120.6549GBM has the offset, 49mm, run into the lug pattern of 5-120.65. So it was their lack of a space in between like the rest of the listings and my lack of comparison combined that screwed me all up and got me worried.
So anyway, a 49mm offset with the tires I want should put everything exactly where I want it to be, just barely under the fender, and no rubbing, right?
So only thing left is the tire combo, will that work or should I go 275/35s all the way around for rotation? 285 make much more of a difference than the 275s in the back? 285s give an extra 1/2inch per tire roughly, or a little less than 1 inch with the two combined. Thats a good bit of contact patch lost if I went with the 275s if my logic works here. And I get a little more sidewall with the 285s as well.
Worth it to stick with 285/35s in back or not?
