Nitto vs. BFG
Nitto vs. BFG
What will hook better a 305/35/18 Nitto DR or 275/35/18 BFG DR. Common sense would say the wider tire will hook better but BFG's compound is so much softer. I would love to have the nitto because it will last longer but it's like $45 more per tire. I need some opinions on what I should do please. Thanks
Wider isn't always better.
Which one has the taller sidewall??? Shorter sidewall = more tire shock = more difficult to hook off the line.
Also more weight = more mass the engine has to spin = slower 60' = higher ET
You also brought up the compound. So which do you think would hook up better? A 12" wide tire with a shorter sidewall and a 100 rating or an R compound 10" wide tire with a little taller sidewall?
