Picked up four 2001 SS rims with two Nitto drag radials for $350



Painted the stock caliper with High Temp paint from advance - $6



Grinded down the inside center of all four wheels to fit over hub
Replaced all the lugs with M12 - 1.5 lugs - $30 at autozone





Brand New BFgoodrich G-force tire 275/40/17 - ~$670 at belle tire for all four tires and installation

Should i go black. IMO the silver makes it looks sleek/nice stock car where the black gives it a muscle/more built look

 

It's up to you. Some people will like it better black, some people will like it better as it is. It's your car though.

 

I love this look, good choice. I will pick some of these up myself once I tire of the ZR-1 look. I'll either go with the 00-02 SS rims or a set of these....

 

yea that looks sweet and i probably would have got those if they weren't almost a grand just for the rims but i feel like everyone and there mother with a 4th gen went with the zo6 rims. Now the 00-02 SS rims in black is something i rarely see. its all personal preference no ones right or wrong
