i just got my new wheels put on today and want honest opinions
on the whole car (pics are in sig and on page 2 at the bottom)

 

I don't like them personally.

 

Are those the blacked out C6-based wheels? Not too bad. Definitely better than the wheels on page one, but still not making my temperature rise. Black wheels can be sweet, but I'm not sure about the silver rim, and I'm not down with the (non functional I assume) allen-head screws around the perimeter.

I have a feeling those wheels look better in person than they do in pictures, though.

BTW, there is a pending new rule on the board stating that user's who make plural's of normal word's by adding an apostrophe are subject to multiple kick's to the ball's.



EDIT: How come "opinion's" got the treatment in the title, but not in the post? How come "wheels" avoided the infraction?

 

I like them. How much did those set you back if I can ask?

they ran me about $1,200 for the rims

Black enough for you? Personally i don't like the two-tone wheels, but that's just me. It isn't that they look horrible, but if you parked next to a black background it would be very hard to find your car.

They would have looked much better if they weren't black and didn't have those rivits or whatever they are. I don't like black wheels, especially on black cars.

 

The rims look real good, but both sets of rims look alot better in person!

 

maybe black rims would look better on a pink car? or maybe a camaro everybody said they loved the same rims on a camaro on this board but sense their on a T/A it's make that big a differance i guess

 

Honest opinion on whole car, I don't hate it but I don't like it either.

 

i had a set of wheels that had that effect once, dante vertigo 750 (also made by pacer now) they looked great on my firebird, but look like crap on my Z28 0_0 cant figure it out for sure but i think its got to do wiht the Z sitting na inch higher and having the blacked out top, but those wheels look pretty good in the pics, but you just cant do black wheels justice in a pic.
