Looking for GS-D3 tires

I called several places, and they are all out of them. One place told me Goodyear has them on backorder with no ETA.

Does anyone know what is going on, or know of a place I can pick up 4 245/50/16 GS-D3s? Even Tirerack has them on backorder .....

Thomas.

just wondering, why you want to pay so much for tires, I have found that hankook and some riken and falken tires too be better or just as good.

none of those tires listed will out perform the GSD3's

dont believe everything you read, except you get what you pay for

goodyear was on strike for a few months, thats why everyone is backordered with no ETA. still trying to fill current backorders

I have GSD3 tires on there now .... bought them a few years ago. They are by far the best sport tire I have ever had. I like to go with something I know will meet my expectations. Paying a little more for something I'll be using for the next 2-3 years is ok with me.

Ahh, I thought it might be a while until I could get a set. My inspection sticker is out, and I'm not sure my current tires will pass. Guess I'll have to drive the K5 around while I wait for a set.

Thanks,
Thomas.
