Info and a question.

Weighed my Bogarts welded RTs with the tires mounted before putting them on the car, (bathroom scale), The 9 3/4 inch rims with the MT 275 50 15 street radials weighed in at 43lbs. compared to the stock salad shooters with the Nitto 245 50 16s that weighed 44lbs. Not bad for bigger rims and tires. The front 4 inch Bogart rims with the sportsman skinnies weighed in at 29lbs. as compared to the stock Goodyear GSCs that weighed 42lbs, So total rotating weight savings was 28lbs.
My question is, what is the ratio off weight savings off the car? Iv'e heard 4 or 5lbs. for every pound of rotating mass. Does anyone know for sure what the formula is? Thanks, Rick.
