I am in a mess trying to decide between 17x9.5 and (18x10.5 back with 18x9.5 front). I was thinking with the money that I saved going with the 17's I could buy some sport springs and drop it like 1.5 inches. Do yall think that would look better with 17's or 18's. Also, i am pretty sure the dark colored z06 factory rims are "aragent" or something like that. Is this what other people call just "silver" or are they different. What would be the proper offset for 17x9.5 wheels on all corners, and what is the largest tire I can fit on it? 285?

get 18's all the way around. If i was you i would get either all 9.5's or all 10.5s if they fit the front. That way you can rotate the tires all the way around. Thats why i want to get rid of my Y2K's which are 17's in the front and 18's in the back they look good but i can't rotate them,and if you switch them side to side the tire tread will be spinnin the wrong direction.
