I sold a set of 5 stars (stock) off my 97Z, and the guy is telling me they wont fit on his 96 RS, I have always been lead to beleive that all 4th gens share the same offset, am i correct in this beleif (rear drums aside, he has Disc's.)

I put 00 Z28 wheels on my 93 and they work fine

 

thats fantastic.. Ive had ZR'1 on ever Z28 I've owned and never ran into this issue, and this is my first 97, others where 93 - 94 - 95...

I linked the guy to this thread, here's hoping he can handle the situation.

 

Yea I had my chrome ZR1's machined when I bought them because of this.

 

I believe the hub is slightly larger on the 93-96. Had the same problem putting a set of 97 5-spokes on a 96 a few years ago.

 

yup the only problem is the hub size but its such an easy fix
