Has anyone tried Nexen Tires on their Camaro?

II bought a set of 275-40-17 tires for my 95 Z-28,they have really deep tread and ride pretty good.I wondered if anyone else had tried them and any problems they might have had. Thanks 1995camaro Z-28

I never have, and I probably never will. Tires are way too important to trust to a company I've never heard of.

EDIT: just looked them up -- they're Korean.

I've run Nexen on my work truck for a couple of years, haven't had any problems with them. They are off-shore, but isn't everything nowadays?

They are exactly what they are supposed to be. A cheaper alternative to driving tires. They are not for the track and they will not last 50k but they sure beat spending $250 on a tire. I have sold quite a few and they are not a bad a tire.

No. Cooper, General, and Goodyear are American companies.

They are american companies but not all tires are made in america. Goodyear owns kelly/springfield and they build tires in the U.S.. I don't know if all the tires are made here but the world can't run without imports and exports. . The nexens are a cheap tire that are better than alot of the inner tubes with tread out there.

General is actually owned by Continental AG out of Germany.

Talking

I just installed a set of Cooper 275X40X17 tires mounted on 17X11 American Racing Mags on my '95 Z conv. The set up is beautiful and traction is much improved. The height aspect is identical to the stock 245X50X16's so my speed meter is still accurate.

Why did you put 275 tires on an 11 inch wide wheel?
