F-Body wheels on a Vette? Just to tow it.

Anyone know if F-Body wheels would fit on a C4 Vette just to tow it on a trailer? And what other wheels from other vehicles would fit the Vette just to tow it?

They will fit. S10 wheels are the same bolt pattern (4.75, I think) as a camaro/vette. They'd probably fit fine, too.

ZR1 wheels won't fit on a f-body.

Any 5 bolt chevy wheel will fit so long as it's big enough to clear the brakes. I would guess any 16" wheel, maybe some 15" wheels.

Wink

depending on how fast you're towing it, if the wheels are off of a V6 the factory tires might not be Z-rated and you could have a blowout at high speeds.

Whether or not they fit depends on both what year F-body wheels you're talking about and what year C4 you're talking about. There are lots of variables

Correction, I got the year wrong on the Vette. The car in the ad is either a C1 or a C2. But are the bolt patterns the same?

The bolt pattern is the standard GM 5x4.75

4th gen F-body wheels absolutely will not fit. MOST 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation F-body wheels will.
