ET streets

I got some used ET streets from a guy I know here in town, they dont have alot of tread left on them but I got a very good deal. So I have 2 questions

1 Im wondering if even with the little tread left on them if they will be too much for my stock 10 bolt rear end. I know people run them all the time I just feel a little uneasy about it. The odometer in my car just rolled over to 200,000 and I dont know anything about the rear end.

2 They are tube type tires, what happens if I run them without tubes?

Were heading down to the Texas Motor Speedway May 13-15 and Im hoping I can get a 13.99 so im trying to do everything I can. Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

They'll leak and feel more squirly.

Rub some dishsoap on the inside of the sidewalls before you mount them. That will help them hold air. One tire will probably still go down on you after a while.
