E.T Streets??
E.T Streets??
Alright here is the question......do you think i would be okay running the MT E.T. Streets 26.00x11.5X16 on the stock 8.5 inch rim??
The minimum recomended wheel width is 8.7" and the stock rim is 8.5". So it's .2" off from the minimum. The reason i was wonder is there is a 1.3 tread width difference between the 10.5 and the 11.5. Does anyone know someone running these on stock rims? I also plan on using tubes with these.

Re: E.T Streets??
I run those on the stock 16x8 rims. You will be fine.
They may or may not rub a touch on the inside wheel well. You will need to tap it a few times with a hammer if they do (cant tell since you hit the rubberized coating).

Re: E.T Streets??
Does it hit near the front part of the inner fender wall (that always looked like it would cause prob if you went bigger)...........how much did you have to hit them? Do you run them with or without tubes??
You wouldn't have any pics of these on your car would you? I kindof am wondering what it will look like from the rear.
Thanks for the quick response, greatly appritiate it.

Re: E.T Streets??
The front part of the inner fender, it has a bulge in it. If you bolt on the tire/wheel you will see where it will be very close. You dont have to hit them a ton, one side can easily be done in a minute or two.
I ran without tubes. I wish i would have used tubes. They always loose air and they are a little too wobbly at higher speeds. I doubt the tubes would prevent that, but at least if the tire decided to unbead i will still have air.
I really dont have any good pics of those on the car. Heres the only one i could find.
http://atljar.com/burnout.jpg yet they are smoking, lol.
You can look at these videos, they all have the tires on the car but still nothing great...

This one after the run me and a couple of my friends are talking. The car is in the background and can somewhat see.

Re: E.T Streets??
Thanks those kindof give me an idea. Nice runs in the vids, looks like you hook good. I can't wait till I hook--it sucks not being able to get traction--very frustrating.
