Re: dubs

Personally I think it takes the right wheel to make it look good. I have seen some tastefull 20's that have looked great and really made the car stand out. Then there are some 20's that are gawdy and ugly that make the car stand out for the wrong reasons. It depends on the wheel. No bling please

Re: dubs

i saw a red 02 SS with 20'' spinners one time... the car was lifted 2 inches, dunno if that was for fitment or what, and they may have been bigger than 20's but the car was red and it was hard to note that it was a real SS for the lift and the big rolling wheels good luck findin some that are nothing like that car...

Re: dubs

takes the right wheel in any size to look good. 20's can be pulled off too.. those that think different still feel that 20's are the expensive bling bling wheel of rappers and 'thugs'

Re: dubs

I like them if they're the right style.

Torque thrust 2's would be AESOME in 20"

Re: dubs

depends on what the car is used for as well as the style of the rim and how you design your car with them in mind. wheels make or break a car and with 20's you have to work that much harder to make them look right. if you went with a billet deep dish from someone like boyd, billet specialties, budnik, boze, i-forged, hre, it could look outstanding.

throw a cast wheel on it and you'll have less of a chance making the car look good. 20's are too mainstream now anyhow being the "in" thing to do that if it doesn't fit the look of your car it's just cheap.

Re: dubs

many said the same about putting 18's on camaro's 5 years ago...

it's all personal preference and the right wheel and style of car can work well together... however it's much harder. if the owner doesn't mind slowing the car down and loosing gas mileage then what does it matter. it's their car.
