sry, if it makes a difference, i was looking at the nitto 555's.

I might just get nitto 450 street tires, $95 a piece, and their cheaper than the cooper ZPT's i can get locally (240 for 2 H-rated tires)

I run nitto dr's year round and it's a daily driver - only put about 5K/year on the car though.

It depends on what you will be driving them in. If you have a bit of power like me, and don't drive it in bad weather, then drag radials might not be a bad idea for your DD. I have them on mine and love them. The Nitto DR's do decent in the rain, almost as good as other street tires I have ran in the past. However, if will be driving your car in snow, I would definatly reccomend NOT running DR's, as they will slide all over the place, and will not be safe. The other possible solution would be to get a cheep set of 2nd wheels to put winter tires on, and then swap out the wheels/tires in the spring and fall.

I use nittos DR, when I drove in the rain I noticed no difference, but maybe thats just me, as far as traction goes, on my basicly stock lt1, they did excellent.

I got caught in the rain a couple times on the interstate going to a far away car show and thought I was going to crash. It was really bad for that. Nice weather was no problem, but cornering wasnt as stable as with normal tires. I got a second set of rims now with Goodyear D3s on there.
