I had Hoosier Quick Time Pros (bias tires) on my bolt-on Impala SS that ran 12.80s and had 1.6 60' times. I loved them; very consistent, drove them on the street, lasted a long time, good price, nice looking tire. For my F-body I went with the radial thinking that it would perform as well as my old Hoosiers but without growth on the top end (radial design) would be quicker. I haven't ran them yet (very soon!) but it looks to be a good tire.

Yeah for the street i would want a radial. And i would go with the ET Streets, two of my friends have them an just love em. I plan on runnning those if i dont get bigger wheels. And check Ebay, i think i might have seen them there lower, but then i dont think you get free shipping, but keep looking around.

I don't have any experience with the Hoosiers. Personally, I would go with the M/Ts.

I have had both MT ET Streets & Nitto 555R and I can say that the ET Streets wins hands down all the way for the track. With the tire pressure up it's not too bad on the street but I wouldn't recommend it.

Get the 255 50 R16 M/T ET Drag Radials...I went consistent 1.55 60's with them and drove on them everywhere...I think some are confusing the ET Street (bias ply) with the ET Radial...Although not recommended for a DD they are all I run on my car and I put about 5000 miles a year on it...I currently run the 275 50 R15s on Bogarts and have the same 60'

They also seem to be wearing very well, much better than my BFG DRs ever did
