different center caps on my 077's?
different center caps on my 077's?
I was wondering if the center caps off ZR1 rims or such would fit in my eagle 077 rims. SLP sells some nice looking chevy logo ones. Just a dumb question.. lol

Use the stock ones...
I am sure you can pick up an extra set in case you don't want to risk messing your's up, but you can make the ones you have what you want...
If they were painted, it would be easier, but you can still do it. I WOULD try it on a tester just in case.
Just strip the stock one down to the bare metal with some sandpaper (lighter grit you can get by with the better). The stripper chemical doesn't react well with whatever is over the centercaps for some reason.
Then, after you get everything down to bare metal, re-polish them, just put whatever decal you want on there, and re-clear them with some wheel coating clear.
That's what I did, but mine were painted, so I didn't have to go quite to bare metal, just until I got a nice smooth surface.
