with no tires on the wheels is there a way to clean them up for minor curb rash im assuming you would do some sort of filing then sanding and get more fine with the grit till its pretty smoothe then buff??

Re: curbrash

Well when my sister first got her 04 Mach 1, less than a week went by before she got some curb rash. She brought it over and my dad worked on it for a little bit. All he did was file it down so it was even with the rest of the wheel, then sanded it, you cant even tell unless you are really up close looking for it.

Re: curbrash

I had some and its still not perfect, but I bought some emory cloth. They had it at home depot and i started with the rough, then medium then fine.. till you cant tell unless looking straight at it. I'd like to do some super fine grit then see how it looks polished. Takes alot of energy but its not really that difficult and looks pretty close to how it once did. So I'd try that if its an aluminum wheel! Good Luck!
