Consequences of putting tires on with wrong rotation

what are the consequences, besides a rough and loud ride, that a wrong rotated tire do to an f-body?

In other words, I have a mounted tire that has the tread facing the wrong way. Apparently the guys that put on the tire at the shop put it on wrong, and didnt think twice to fix it

How bad can one tire make the car handle?

Bad in the rain. Shouldn't effect dry too much it it'll probably wear quicker.

I would think it could cause damage to the tire itself, it's not engineered to run in that direction.

My friend road races and he runs them backwards to get the most life out of them.
Like mentioned before, it should only adversely affect you in the rain.

I had a shop put one of my fronts on wrong. The car was pulling to the left. badly. When I took it back the guy told me it was a good thing I came back, cause it woulda "busted tha belts", (whatever that means).

I've had people come in that put their tires on the wrong way and they were chopped out really bad because of it. I know it would ruin the tire but it would take a while to do it. It wouldn't do it just driving around the block a few times. I would also think it would wear A LOT faster.

The tires have thread like wires inside them to hold them together. I believe thats what the belts are. Had a rear tire literally explode on me at 45mph (thought i ran over a huge rock, even tripped the safety fuel shut off sensor) and it was kinda neat to see how the tire was put together. It wasnt in my f bodies either.
