i had to put my street tires back on now cause the bfg's were almost bald. i liked them but has anyone had them and a differant brand to compare them to? might get nitto but i see many threads where the nitto's last a while telling me of a harder compound rubber. i dont know much about e/t's, are they the mickey thompson brand?

 

I ran the BFG DRs for 10 years and then switched to the M/T ET Radials and they just out hook the BFGs by far AND they seem to be lasting longer than the BFGs ever did. There is less tread, but whats there is deeper than the BFGs...I also noticed way less rubber in the rear quarters after my burn outs with the M/Ts. They are a very good drag tire. They are all I run on my 95 but its not my daily driver....

My 255 50 R16s were $160 each which is I think a little more than the BFGs, but boy do they hook, and like I said above, they seem to last longer on the street. The trick is to run no more than 25 psi on the street or you'll wear the centers out very fast...
