Chrome on silver

JUst looking for some opinions. What does everyone think of chrome rims on a silver car. Is it too much? Does the chrome get lost in the gleam from the silver paint? Or does the silver overpower the chrome? Thinking about replacing my painted rims with chrome & would like to hear from 'ya. Thanx.

Chrome rims don't have as big of an effect on a silver car verses say a red car but they still look damn good . They no doubt look better than silver painted rims. I wouldn't say they get lost its just the color contrast isn't as big. IMO you can't beat the shine coming off chrome rims no matter what color the car is. I say go for it, I personally love my chrome Z06 rims on my silver Z.

Chrome is a bad choice on any car, IMO. Go for silver.

I have chrome 17" Crager SS's on my 2001 SS light pewter metallic.

Neither the pewter over powers the chrome nor does the chrome over power the pewter.

I get people to turn their heads and drop their jaws around where I live, because there are mostly ricers and stangs driving around, very few Camaro's.

I will try to get some pictures up soon. Planning on taking them tonight if its nice out.

Click on the red website link to see pics of my silver Z with chrome c5's. It's less contrast but that's what I wanted. Also went with chrome emblems and rear fill ins. Hope this helps.

Sweet looking car man. Looks pretty similar to mine except I have a black top (hard top) and black mirrors. Get some clear corner lenses, they will look awesome with your chrome Z06 rims.

Sweet, got any pics of yours? I've been thinking about getting some clears for the front, just haven't gotten around to buying them yet.

No pics right now but I will have some real soon. I'm getting my windows tinted for my birthday in June so I'm waiting to use my brothers camera until then. I will post them here when I get them taken.

Definitly get some clear corner lenses. I was skeptical on how they would look but after I got them on I would never go back. They look awesome

Do you have the "frosty" original style or the euro diamond ones?
