I bought my Cobra knock off wheels from them for my Avanti, and three sets
of EVO-Z tires. They are made by Kelly tires and a knock-off of the Goodyear
F1 tire. (Goodyear owns Kelly tire). They advertise on Ebay, and sell package
deals. If you get the Corvette rims, you can order all "fronts" which will be a
17 inch wheel that will fit no problems and still be able to rotate.

I got my 17" Z06 wheels with tires on ebay from OEWheels for about 1100. They already come mounted, you just have to get them balanced. You could probably get them for a little less than that, but I got 275 width tires instead of 245's.

 

ive got a set of c5 rims for sale, im asking 1200 though, brand new 295/35/18s on the rear and good 245/45/17s on the front, i know the price is a little higher than what you asked for but if your interested give me a pm

Ebay will be your best friend in this matter or try to find a used set in good condition from a member on this board. Otherwise, if you only have a grand to spend on both rims and tires, you will be hard pressed to find anything other then non-chrome wheels and mediocre tires. I have a friend who purchased a nice set of brand new chrome 17" ZR1s from Ebay for a little under 500 bucks. He then purchased some Nitto drag radials for the rear and some cheap Kuhmos for the front and had everything for under a grand.
