Cheap Place To Buy Tires?
Cheap Place To Buy Tires?
Discount tire seems to be the cheapest that I have found besides ebay
But where is the best place to buy tires online? Right now I just need something cheaper, or even good used tires but those make me nervous
But left me know where you got a good deal.
BTW I'm looking for 275/40s

www.tirerack.com. I got my 275/40 17 Kuhmos for 100 bucks a pop on there.

I can get the Sumotos off of tire rack for $83 or the sumotos that are a little better for like $103 or I can get Hankook tires from discount tire for $99 and free shipping, but I think I'm just going to try to find a good used set as of right now since I'm really almost out of money from my motor build up
Kumho 711s suck
712s are pretty good to excellent
Some of the newest Kumhos are supposed to be really great.
Unless you specify which specific model the tire was, your opinion is worthless.
It's like saying :"Chevys are slow" based on your experience with a 4 cylinder Cavalier.

In this case he'd need to specify.
Of course, since his idea of what to put on the car is in the bottom dollar area, he'll never know what tires are good...
My vote for good is:
Front 275/40/17 BFG KDW
Rear 275/40/17 MT ET Street Radials
Of course, that package will cost a bit more than 83 bucks each.
OTOH, Kumho ASXs or 712s won't cost all that much and do a reasonably good job.

But I'll either get Nittos, BFGs, or MT in the future
