Can you drive drag radials in the rain?

I was looking at maybe getting some BFGoodrich G-Force T/A Drag Radial Tires mounted on the rear tires. I only go to the strip once or twice a month, but I am sick of having absolutely no traction(the night I go on they don't spray VHT, or whatever the sticky crap is called).

My purchase hangs on basically if I can drive this tire in the rain. I will not get them if it is even remotely unsafe to drive them in the rain. I am also wondering how long will these tires last? And do they ride at least halfway decent?

You CAN drive with them in the rain but don't expect to go fast or for it to be fun.

Yes, you can drive on anything. But do you really want to do it??? I can't see any insurance company paying a claim if they see Drag type tires on the car.

okay, I was trying to be cheap and drive on my drag radials everyday with the stock wheels.

I'll have to go with option 2, a set of mickey thompson E.T. Streets, since they require a DOT tire in my class. Guess I'll have to get some wider wheels too. And a line lock for the brakes

My friend has the BFG G-Force T/As on his Vette. Its not a happy tire in the rain. He won't go over 40mph in the rain.

I have Nittos on my car and I've been upto 70mph in the rain no problem.
