Bogart drag wheels

Anyone know of any gains at the strip from using such a lightweight wheel?

Re: Bogart drag wheels

The fronts weigh like 9 lbs, the rears like 10 lbs...Every 100 lb drop in weight is roughly .1 off your ET. Plus the lighter front will help load transfer at launch. The 15" wheel will help by allowing you to run a tire with more sidewall to "wrinkle" and also help your launch....The two drawbacks are high $$$$$$ and they are not designed for street use, and I know some who have cracked fronts on the street...For racing only, they are supposed to be the wheel to use...

Not to mention it's all rotating weight so it is going to be more effective than removing the same amount of static weight.
