uummmmm what kind of wheels? They generally don't look good painted black unless the lip is left polished or chrome. That breaks up the blackness of the tire and wheel

what kind of wheels though? and how much are they? Black 17" rims with polished lips aren't hard to come by these days. I'd go for 18's or 20's in chrome./

i had my stock turbine wheels painted black on my 5.0 for awhile. they actually looked better IMO. i also sold them for a couple hundred bucks too. all it took was an hour and a can of spray paint. they actually came out looking pretty nice.

That's the only kind of black wheel I think I could ever like.

These aren't the same, but they are very close....and yes they aren't black, they are a mirage type of paint and look green in this photo. I do have some photos of these on my car but this is all I have at work. And yes I know these are real dusty/dirty but I pulled them out to either trash or sell em...here they are:

Hope that helps a bit. I also painted my black salad shooters...check my cardomain page to get a peek at those....(which are replaced w/ z06's now )
