Black 18's with polished lip...
Black 18's with polished lip...
i've been looking everywhere for some...i found some Giovanna's but they're 19's and they'd cost a freakin fortune!!! i don't want Z06's or ZR1's but i figured since my cars silver it'd look mean with black wheels...thanks
Re: Black 18's with polished lip...
i like those but i want something different since a whole hell of a lot of camaro's have Z06 wheels of some sort...they look damn good but i wanna be different
Re: Black 18's with polished lip...
I have a silver one, and i will be doing the same, i have been looking for months myself. truthfully i have found your best bet is either the ZO6's or gettin a wheel powder coated...which ive been quoted $25 a wheel for before..only $100, not a big deal...this way u can get a polished/chrome lip wheel in multiple styles, and then powdercoat it black..doing this also give you a bunch of size options. where as like you said, u only found 19's. Thats what i would suggest, and thats what i will be doing myself probably, i have a picture of a silver camaro with fiske fm5's polished lip, center painted black, ill see if i cant find it when im around later. Its sick!
Re: Black 18's with polished lip...
so many people think that cuz they see 20 cars on the net with something its played out. How many camaros or trans ams do you see every day with black z06 wheels with a polished lip? I dont know of any locally.

I seriously doubt any shop is gonna do them for $100 all 4 18's. I got quoted $129 each with a lifetime warranty. but if they do and they stand behind it i might look into it.

If the wheels are new, u might be able to ge them done for $15..all depending on the style of the wheel. U pay all shipping. They are a supporting vender of LS1tech.com. I was also quoted from a local p-coating guy $25 per wheel, or $45 per wheel clear coated. It may cost more or less depending on if ur wheel has a clear coat also. If not clear coat, ask if its annodized, because if it is the powdercoat supposedly wont stick as well (it wont flake or anything but its just reccomended not to do it) I was told this by the guy who quoted me a local price.
