Biggest tires for 18x9.5

What's the biggest tire size I could go with on 2000 Corvette 18x9.5 wheels?

I'm thinking 285/35(or40) 18's.... Check the stickeys at the top, do0d.. I have 275 in the front and they are a little narrow.. SLIGHTLY narrow for me. I could use a but flatter sidewall.
