BFG Traction T/As
BFG Traction T/As
Anybody run these tires. I did a few searches, but couldn't come up with anything, the words traction and BFG just pull up way too much unrelated data.
I'm looking for a new set of tires to run on the street. I have a spare set of wheels with drag radials for the track / fun so i'm not concerned with end all be all traction. I'm just looking for something that works half decent and will last longer than the dunlop SP5000s i've been using the past few years. The dunlops are great tires, i've cut 1.8 60's with 'em, never remotely hydroplaned even going way too fast in way too much rain, etc. But they're a pretty soft tire (thus the 1.8s) and get killed with all the highway driving i do. I honestly got almost as many miles on a set of nittos that even saw track duty as i do out of the dunlops.
The Traction TA has a great treadwear rating compared to all the other performance BFG tires, and all the survey results and ratings at tire rack seem to praise them as lasting very long and handling and sticking pretty good too. I'd just like to hear some real feedback from some people that probably drive similarly to how i do, which is, most 'miles' come from long highway drives
