BF Goodrich RE760 Reviews??

I know these tires are pretty new but I was curious if anyone has run these?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....peed_rating=(Y)

They seem to beat out the KDW tires in there BMW 325 test in all areas. But a BMW 325 is nothing like my 450hp camaro. So I'm curious how well these tires grip off the line and corner as well.. There was 1 review on tirerack.com with a 450 hp GTO (same 17" tire size) who stated that they gripped very well and was overall impressed. His review was fairly comprehensive and followed up after 5000 miles too..

I'm between these and the Wide Oval Firestones.. 275/40/17
I want tires that do ok in rain but great in dry traction and cornering.

RE 760's are a Bridgestone Tire. The 760 and Wide Oval are very similar tires. Bridgestone owns Firestone. The last generation 760 and Wide Oval were tha same construction with a different tread patteren. I have the previous generation Wide Ovals on the front of the car. So far they have been a good tire. Cornering grip should be decent for a dedicated street tire. You will probably blow them off pretty good from a dig. Anything over about half throttle in 1st gear use to spin my Michelin XGT-Z4's, once I got past stock power levels.

I didn't drag it back up, and did not realize the guy who did is banned. Unfortunately I did not check the first post for the date. My bad.

"lackneramanda" had a habit of going around pulling up years-old posts, and posting nonsensical questions. If got ridiculous, so he is no longer with us.
