best wheel polish

I have the stock wheels on my 1985 iroc z28. It looks like they need heck of a polishing. I'd like to know what polish would work best on this. I want to get them shined up and blingin better than they were new.

I have some polish, I think its called 'Blue Maxx', is that one of the best polishes i can use. I've heard of people using sandpaper and dremil's to polish their rims......what should i do?

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks

Sandpaper? Wouldn't that take off the chrome/paint? Mothers makes good polishes, give them a shot.

Is there anything I can do with a sandblaster that would be worth it or any good. I know it would take any paint or clear coats off.

Sandblasting happens to be my job , so I could easily do anything to the rims.

The Blue Maxx stuff isn't bad...Mother's BILLET polish is the best though for off the shelf polish.

The sandpaper and Dremel method you are thinking of is how you go about polishing previously unpolished wheels.

You will just have to polish - not sand (assuming they are polished wheels).

You may have a time with just regular polish. I would probably suggest you give a visit to www.EastwoodCo.com and purchase some of their wheel polishing products.

They have a guide there as well - along with everything you will need - and all the different grades of polish.

For some reason Eastwood's site isn't up right now - or I would get you some direct links - but you can browse around and find it all...it's pretty simple stuff.
