best tire for drag racing

best tire for drag racing

I have 18" wheels and need to get alot more traction from my car. I was wondering what Tire you guys think I should run. I drive the car just for fun I have I truck I drive in rain and cold etc. Let me know what you think

Yeah but I was hoping to use my rims and leave these tires on all summer. I wont be able to get away with driving on straight drag slicks I dont think

The BFG Drag Radials are nice all around except when it rains. You just have to be really careful then. They handle well, hook decent.

I know Hoosier has some drag racing tires for 18 because that what I'm running on the rears. 295 35 18 hoosiers on my y2k C5 rims. Check the hoosier website
