Red face Best/Cheap Tires

What do you guys recommend? My car has been sitting for awhile now (years) and all she really needs is some new rubber and I need to fix a small oil leak. I figure I'll do something about it starting with the tires- what do you guys recommend? I know there are Z-Rated tires on it right now and I'm not sure if I still need that rating - I know they are probably a little more pricey.

With Price as a factor you'll need to compromise on traction or treadlife.... Also helps to know how / when you plan to drive the car. I'm assuming that it's a fun toy for dry roads (Cammed, and not driven in while). Also assuming stock tire size, but if you've upgrded that may change the options available.

So IMHO:
BF Goodrich G-Force Sports or
Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval

are both reasonably priced for the level of traction / treadlife.

You might check out the Kumho's too. I like mine. Especially for the price.
