Anyone running Z06 Wheels?
Anyone running Z06 Wheels?
Does anyone run the 17'/18' Z06 combo? The wheels look damn good on the vettes, but how does the 17's up front and 18's out back look on a 98-02 Camaro? A friend has a brand new set he is wanting to sell me and I just wanted to see how they look before I spend the $.
Re: Anyone running Z06 Wheels?
I just put 17's all the way around on my 98 Camaro, looks real nice. Pics located in the sig. 17s in front and 18s in the rear will also look nice. I LOVE the Z06 wheels.
Re: Anyone running Z06 Wheels?
I have ZO6's on my car but i have 18's all the way around. I would recommend getting the same size all the way around. I use to have 17in the front and 18's in the back Y2K vette rims. They looked good but you can't rotate the tires on them.

Re: Anyone running Z06 Wheels?
You can't rotate the tires because most of our tires are only suppose to spin 1 direction. If you have 18's on the back the only way to rotate tires is to have the tire taken off the rim and switched around. Obviously you can't move the 18's up to the front. 10.5's in the back either will require spacers or some inner wheel well modification with a hammer.
As for the firebird/TA door panels i dunno what year they are off of exactly. I've owned 3 sets. They are all the same from 93-02. The white ones came in white, it makes them pretty rare. I sold them and have the graphite ones in the top pic. I figured i would never be able to keep the white clean at my work.

Yeah just go with that 17.9.5" all way around like I did. Like mentioned you cannot rotate the tires. It's silly because it's really dont make a noticable difference going 17-18 then to a 17" all way around.

p.s. detroit 94 but i dont care if i can rotate it though, and i think the 18'sx10.5 instead of 17x10.5 or 9.5 would look nice on the back.
