Re: Anyone ran these?

I ran both the 315 17 and the 275 17 and there was no difference in 60'...At the time I went with the 275 40 R17 BFG DRs and they worked well. Got several 1.60-1.70 60's...Then along came the Mickey Thompson DRs and they are fantastic...The BFG is more of a street tire than the M/T, but so far the M/T is wearing better than my BFGs ever did...I was a BFG user for 10 years and have since been converted...check out the Mickeys, too...Either way all you will gain from the 315 tire is added weight...I run the 255 50 16s on stockers and run 1.55 60's all day long....the slightly taller with more side wall 255 50 16 way out hooked my wider, but less sidewall 275 40 17s...Just something to think about, too...
