Anyone ever fixed "curb rash" themselves? How?

Anyone ever fixed "curb rash" themselves? How?

Hey guys, got a couple of curb marks on my Enkei Win's on the drivers side. pretty small, but I would like to know if there is a technique to fix it myself. thanks in advance.

You can file it off so it'll be smooth and less noticeable. On polished wheels its easy, file it and repolish. On a painted wheel...you can strip the wheel and repaint it after filing. On a chrome wheel I think you are fudged.

yeah the chrome wheels you either live with or file and re-dunk.

One good thing about black wheels, you'll barely notice.

Yeah, I kinda figured the idea would be to get it back smooth and re-polish it, but I don't know much about polishing, so I thought I might get a little more detail here. Any tips on what to use and technique would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
