I got 18" chrome z06 wheels from them off ebay like 1.5 years ago and they were perfect when I got them. I got into an accident like 6 months ago and the rims had to be replaced so insurance bought them directly from the website and the wheels looked the same..no blemishes, perfect condition.

thanks alot that easies my mind a lil on what to expect......But something in my opinion sounds fishy if on there site the same wheel/tire combo except w/kuhmo tires over the dunlop which should be higher b/c of name brand is $1995 but I just bought the set i was looking at on Ebay today for $1395 +160 shipping which was 1531 to my door.........see that's why i'm like well i could have gotten screwed and there's gonna be a big peel or bubble on the chrome when i get them out of the box whicih i'm stuck with.....i jut figured there blem's they sell on there were for the poor man's car like my own.

Re: AFS wheels on Ebay.....guys who've bought them inside

I bought a set of 17 X 9.5 Chrome Z06 wheels from a guy called TomZ Wheels on E-Bay. He had a 100% feedback, and it was a good price. When they arrived, not one BUT ALL 4 wheels were bent/warped. I took them to another shop to make sure the first wasn't crazy. Each one would wobble like crazy when turned by hand on the balance machine. He was a good guy and mailed me labels, and refunded all my money, no questions asked. I am sure I juts got a bad batch, or something. I am thankful that side of the deal went smooth, and he took care of me 100% But, I did learn a lesson, I could have gotten the wheels from someone that wasn't as helpful, and willing to help as that guy. I did end up going to a local wheels shop to get the same wheels for roughly $100 more than the deal on the internet, but this way there isn't any hassle, and if there is an issue, I'm not playing phone tag, and trying to make sure everthing is handled...

Once again this seller was a good one, and It could been worse, and I do think it was a honest mistake, that he handled as professionally as he could.

aw man sorry to hear the trouble....i done alot of research about AFS and they say that their wheels are straight true and not out of round if i quoted them correctly....so hopefully they wont' screw me over....i've heard nothing but good things abou them on here through researching for a few months now they seem and say to be the best at OER products. so i've got my fingrereds crosed...i think i will take themt o the local shop and put them on the balancer just to make sure before bolting them on

Yeah, that's just like what my auction looked like, except I got the Kumho tires with mine (they sucked, the Pirelli's are much better). You'll notice that they have the corvette center caps but if you call them they will send you blank ones intstead (I got blank ones cause I got a camaro and not a corvette). Once I called them they sent them out right away and got to my house within a few days, pretty good coming from California. So I wouldn't worry about them, if there's MAJOR problems with them, the got pretty good customer service, so I'm sure they'll take care of it. Just relax! They'll be fine

You're best best for lug nuts is either a local shop, but if not, I'd say some Gorilla locking lug nuts, I think Summit Racing has them pretty cheap. They'll be able to help you out with the size too (don't remember ), sorry.

I got some 17x11s for $134 for the pair and htey were stated as used. They were perfect except for some sticky stuff like tape on the inside of the rim, like where the tire would be.

I got 4 17X11 polished AFS ZR1s off Ebay too. They also said " minor blems"
They look very good. I did find some small blems on the inside lip where you would fasten some wheel weights, but you won`t see them!
I would buy again from AFS.

Re: AFS wheels on Ebay.....guys who've bought them inside

I got a set of wheels/tires from the guys in Sarasota FL (Moore something or other on ebay) wheels/tires package. Very helpful guys, helped me every step of the way with questions and answers. Even called a week after they arrived to make sure everything went smooth. 17x9.5 and 17x11 chrome with tires for like $1350 shipped. Cant complain!

I would have done AFS, but they didnt have that exact special at the time where the guy in FL did. I've heard good stories from both.

Bought my AFS Z06s from ebay over a year ago. Absolutely flawless when they arrived at my door and continue to be the same way one the car.
