35th anniversary wheels from stock SS wheels

Has anyone tried to strip and paint the stock painted SS wheels to look like the SE wheels? The ones with the machined face and black behind.

If so, can you post pics?

I have seen a few knock off's, but i really want a gm molded wheel.

do you know the name of the company?

whats wrong with a knock off? just because its not a name brand doesnt mean its a poorly made wheel.

sometimes nothing. sometimes everything. i have seen knock-offs that corrode or the paint peels. i have no problem with them, as long as they will last and look factory.
