Can someone tell me what size wheel and tires fit on your 2nd gen, mine is a 79. I was thinking maybe 15x7 with 4" B/S up front and 15x8 with 4+1/2 B/S in rear? Thanx

OK update to question. My 2nd Gen 79 has 15x7 with 4"B/S front and 15x8 with 4"B/S rear. Rite now the rear tire inner side wall is 3/4" away from tail pipe. I need new rims and tires and since no one makes a high speed rated 15" tire any more, I am going to 17x7x4"b/s front and 17x8x4"b/s rear. What size tires should I or can I run? Rear is main concern because of the close 2+1/2" tailpipe that is 3/4" away from inner sidewall?
