275's on 8.5" Y2K rim?

Is anybody doing it? I like the look of the Y2K rims, but dislike the 65mm rear offset on the 18's. The 56mm offset on the 17's is perfect, but they dont have them in a 9.5" width, just the 8.5" width. I realize its not necessarily what you should do, but whos done it?

Actually i had Y2K's from an 03 C5 and all i need was some spacers. They worked great. Here's a crappy pic but you get the idea.

Yeah, I know all you need is some spacers or to beat the fender in a little bit, but I dont want to beat my fender in and I dont like spacers, thats why I dont like the 65mm offset on the 18's.

Re: 275's on 8.5" Y2K rim?

I was in the same situation a little while ago. I had the factory thin spokes but I didn't like the tire selection/price for the 18" rears. All I could really find in replica wheels was the 17x8.5 in a 56+/- offset. Discount Tire Direct only offered the wheels in a 17x8.5 size. On the same day that I was ordering the Nittos from DTD, they dropped the 8.5" and changed to the 9.5. So, I was the first to order the 9.5" and only had to wait like 2 weeks for them to get some in stock. They are made by TopLine. There has been a problem with the center caps, but that was resolved on Friday. They kept sending me the wrong caps...literally 5 sets!! So, I got the wheels that I wanted with the Nittos mounted, balanced and shipped for a great price. Here is a link to the wheels.
You would think that someone from Discount Tire would know this...

BTW - I was going to order the wheels from TomZWheels since they were one of the only places that sold the 9.5", but DTD offered to almost match the price so I got everything from them.
