My 2002 SS with SLP 10 spoke chrome wheels have started to discolor (rust color) in the corners that I can't seem to remove. I realize it can't be rust since the wheels are aluminum. The car only has 14,000 ,miles and has had the best of care.

My question is: Have other owners of these wheels had the same problem and what can be done about it?

Will the dealer stand behind this inferior workmanship?

Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.
