1996 Camaro & 18x9.5 Z06 Wheels

My son wants a set of Z06 wheels for his Camaro and I just want to make sure he is not buying a tire that is not going to fit or will rub. He is wanting to put 18x9.5 Zo6's with 263/35 ZR18 tires. Will these be a problem. He has a V-6 car if that matters.

Thanks

Does he have any issues with the tires rubbing when he turns aor anything. I know he lowered his so if he is good I am pretty sure my son's car should be.

THanks

i have a set of 18 x 9.5's Z06's, I believe the tire size on mine are 275/35/18 pics are in the sig. The rims should fit fine. I believe rubbing is only an issue with 10.5 inch wide rims or wider. I use to have a set of Y2K vette rims that were 10.5inches wide and they would rub if i cornered to fast. All i had to do was hammer the inner wheel well to make them fit.

A 265 is a bit small for a 9.5" wheel. I'd go with at least a 275.

The wheels should fit fine without a problem.

Your son should run a 275/35/18 tire on these wheels so they are plus sized correctly and so he will not have any speedometer errors. Also the 275/35 will give him a little big bigger of a sidewall.
